The ERC Advanced Grant project called GRIFFIN started at November 1st 2018. The project’s kick-off will be held at the Engineering School of the University of Seville at November 16th, showing which are the projects objetives, proposals and advances.

The GRIFFIN project aims to develop aerial robots with flapping wings to physically interact with humans and safely operate in environments where rotorcrafts couldn’t do it. GRIFFIN is funded under the ERC Advanced Grant budget, granted to professor Aníbal Ollero and the robots will be developed by the members of GRVC (Group of Robotics, Visions and Control) in the Engineering School’s facilities.
