The project coordinator Anibal Ollero was interviewed by the national newspaper EL PAÍS. He talks about the research on aerial robotics, mentioning the GRIFFIN project.
The Director of GRVC Robotics Lab and principal investigator of the GRIFFIN Advanced Grant of the European Research Council, Anibal Ollero, won the Spanish National Research Award in Engineering 2021 for his excellent research in Autonomous Systems.
The ceremony with the King of Spain will be held by the beginning of next year in Madrid.

Expodrónica 2021 will have several international personalities in aerial robotics, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) as speakers. Prof. Aníbal Ollero, director of the GRVC Robotics Laboratory at the University of Seville and Scientific advisor of CATEC will participate as speaker at event BNEW 2021-Barcelona (2º Barcelona New Economy Week), in the session entitled “BFUTURIST. Urban Air Mobility: the Future Revolution – Robotics at the Service of Citizens” on Thursday 07 October, 12:00h at Casa Seat.
Prof. Ollero will introduce the ERC Advanced Grant GRIFFIN in his presentation.
