Professor and Doctor Anibal Ollero will be appointed member of the Royal Galician Academy of Sciences – Galician Royal Academy of Sciences on February 22.

The paper titled: «Free as a Bird: Event-based Dynamic Sense-and-Avoid for Ornithopter Robot Flight», has been accepted and will be issued in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters.
The authors: Juan Pablo Rodríguez Gómez, Raúl Tapia, María del Mar Guzmán García, J. Ramiro Martinez de Dios and Anibal Ollero are happy with the results obtained. We are all looking forward to the publishing of the paper 📝🐦🤖.
The director of GRVC research group at the Universidad de Sevilla, Anibal Ollero, was recently interviewed by Canal Sur TV. The interview was broadcasted the 25th of January on EnRed, and in it Aníbal talks about the state of research in drone technologies, and about some of the works currently being developed alongside his team.
The project coordinator Anibal Ollero was interviewed by the national newspaper EL PAÍS. He talks about the research on aerial robotics, mentioning the GRIFFIN project.
